HUNNIC TRIBES, Kidarites. Uncertain king, late 4th-early 5th century. Dinar (Electrum, 23 mm, 8.00 g, 12 h), uncertain mint. King standing front, head to left, sacrificing with his right hand over altar; around, traces of symbols and of legend. Rev. Ardoxsho enthroned facing, holding cornucopiae in her left hand and diadem in her right. Cribb, Kidarites, pl. 4, 40. About extremely fine.
